The trek to Tikona Fort is of easy level and takes around 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the summit.
The fort is a trekking destination noted for the large doors, the temple of ‘Trimbakeshwar Mahadev’, seven water tanks (seven water tanks), and some Satvahan caves. Trek organisers also commend the views of Pavana dam and the nearby forts of Tung, Lohagad and Visapur.
To reach top of the fort one need to climb 100 odd stairs from here which are very steep. The steps are split into 2 sections. A rope with bolts is fixed which gives support while climbing.
