Starting from the picturesque village of Ratanwadi, the trek begins near the ancient Amruteshwar Temple, a stunning example of Hemadpanti architecture. The monsoon season, from June to September, transforms the landscape into a lush green paradise, with dense forests, flowing streams, and vibrant wildflowers.

The trek is moderately challenging, spanning approximately 6 kilometers one way. The trail features steep ascents, rocky paths, and slippery sections, requiring careful navigation and sturdy trekking shoes. En route, trekkers encounter numerous waterfalls, including the mesmerizing Ratanwadi Waterfalls, adding to the scenic beauty of the journey.

Ratanagad Fort, perched at an altitude of 4,255 feet, boasts a rich history of over 2,000 years. It was once captured by the Maratha king Shivaji Maharaj. DAY 01
Mumbai - Ratangad

Meet team LiveB4YouDie at the meet up point and start the journey for the location.

  • 10:00 Pm – Meet LiveB4YouDie Team at SGNP, Borivali.
  • 10:15 Pm – Settle down in our private vehicle as we start our journey towards the base Village.
  • 10:30 Pm – Pick up at Gondavali Bus Stop, Andheri.
  • 10:45 Pm – Pick up at Kalanagar bus stop, Bandra.
  • 11:00Pm – Pick up at Sion Circle.
  • 11:30 Pm -Pick up at Teen Hatt Naka, Thane.

Overnight bus journey.

DAY 02
Ratangad - Mumbai
  • 05:30 Am: We reach the Base village, from where you can get the starting view of the Sahyadri Mountains.
  • 05:45 Am: Get freshen up & grab a quick breakfast.
  • 06:15 Am: Gear up & pack your bags and get out! For adventure Monsoon Trek, It’s gonna be a long trek to the top. We will make a few stops on the way where you can grab some snacks or some nimbu pani.
  • 11:00 Am: On reaching the top, settle down and enjoy the view of the surroundings. 
  • 11:30 Am: After a group picture we start our journey back to the base village.
  • 03:00 Pm: We reach the base village and grab a quick Maharashtrian lunch.
  • 04:00 Pm: Time to head back to Mumbai. Settle down in our vehicles as we drive back home.
  • 09:00 Pm: Adios! Back to the city life. Until next time, LiveB4YouDie!
