The journey typically begins with a visit to Kedarnath, located in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand, India. Pilgrims undertake a challenging trek or opt for a helicopter ride to reach the revered Kedarnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and pristine landscapes, the temple exudes an aura of divine tranquility. After offering prayers and seeking blessings, travelers can explore nearby attractions like Bhairavnath Temple and Gandhi Sarovar.

Next, the journey takes you to Badrinath, situated in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, stands as a symbol of spiritual enlightenment amidst the Himalayan peaks. Pilgrims participate in rituals like the sacred darshan and seek blessings from the deity. The town of Badrinath also offers attractions like the Tapt Kund hot springs and the picturesque Mana village, considered the last village before the Indo-Tibetan border.

Throughout the tour, travelers are immersed in the rich cultural heritage of the region, witnessing age-old traditions, chanting of hymns, and the vibrant atmosphere of devotion. The journey also allows for moments of introspection and spiritual rejuvenation amidst the serene mountain landscapes.

Moreover, the tour includes comfortable accommodations, transportation, and knowledgeable guides who provide insights into the history, mythology, and significance of each site. Whether you seek spiritual solace, cultural exploration, or simply wish to marvel at the awe-inspiring beauty of the Himalayas, the Kedarnath-Badrinath tour promises an unforgettable experience that nourishes the soul and leaves a lasting impression.

Things To Carry
  • Day backpack (20 – 30 Ltrs): When you are on a local sightseeing tour, you are required to carry only a few necessary items and for that, you need a day backpack as you will leave your bigger one at your designated stay.
  • Floaters or Sandals: When you are spending your day at leisure, a good pair of sandals and floaters will help you to move freely.
  • 1 Down Jacket / Main Jacket: It’s emphasized that you need to carry proper layers so you can avoid getting cold which is why you need to carry an insulated jacket that you can put on over your other clothes.
  • 1 Pair of Thermal: Thermal is a piece of garment that helps in keeping your body warm in cold temperatures. It is a necessary item that you need when traveling to cold regions.
  • 3 Quick Dry Tees: You must keep at least three pairs of quick dry tees so that you can wash them in between stops for proper hygiene.
  • 3 Pair of Cotton Socks: Cotton socks are extremely comfortable to move around in and are lightweight as well which is why you can always count on a good pair of cotton socks while traveling. However, keep in mind to change them and avoid wearing them if they are moist.
  • 1 Pair of Woolen Socks: A good pair of woolen socks, especially merino, are comfortable, limit odors and provide adequate insulation from the cold so you can wear them at night.
  • 1 Poncho: A poncho is an evolved form of a raincoat that provides coverage to your body as well as your bag and ensures total water protection from rain.
  • Quick-dry towel: A quick-dry towel will help in maintaining proper hygiene. It must dry quickly because the wet fabric will only increase the chance of bacterial growth.

Improvements need to be done: Please extend the timing of waterfall. No body wants to spend only half and hour in waterfall after making so many efforts to reach there. Try to make a group of 10-12 people with all your volunteers. Atleast people will know whom to follow. Introduction part was not that interesting as you just ask their name. No background of their profession and interest in trekking. Few people travel in group to find someone who can be a good travel partner. If you taking a trip at night. You should understand not all people are teenagers. Few of them are coming with you after finishing the office hours. Let them take rest rather than cheering up so that they can save their energy for the trek. Food was really good. Keep it up Volunteers were friendly Overall it was good.

It was a day of exhilarating experiences and breathtaking landscapes as I embarked on a thrilling trek with the LiveB4YouDie Trekking Group. From the moment we set foot on the trail until the very end, every step was filled with joy, and a sense of accomplishment. Our journey began early in the morning as we gathered at the meeting point. The LiveB4YouDie team greeted us with warm smiles, introductions, and a thorough briefing about the day's itinerary and safety measures. Right from the start, it was evident that we were in good hands with experienced guides and enthusiastic fellow trekkers. The trek tested our physical endurance, but the LiveB4YouDie team ensured that the pace was comfortable for everyone. They motivated us with encouraging words, and whenever someone needed a break, they patiently waited, making sure no one was left behind. The support and encouragement from the group members created a strong sense of unity, and we felt like one big family. During our journey, we encountered various challenges, including rocky terrains, steep ascents, and slippery trails. But overcoming each obstacle brought a sense of achievement that is hard to put into words. The LiveB4YouDie team's expertise in guiding us through these difficulties was truly commendable. The highlight of the trek was undoubtedly reaching the summit. The panoramic views from the top were awe-inspiring, and it felt like we were on top of the world. The sense of accomplishment and the bond we had formed as a group made the experience more meaningful. The LiveB4YouDie team surprised us with a delicious and well-deserved feast of local cuisine, which we enjoyed while sharing laughter, and swapping stories. LiveB4YouDie Trekking Group had given us an unforgettable adventure, and we had made memories that will last a lifetime. I am grateful to have shared this experience with such an amazing group of people and talented guides. Thank you, LiveB4YouDie, for making this trek a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
