Kalavantin is located in Panvel, and the summit is around 2300 ft and, it is the 686-meter high mountain in the Western Ghats, near the Prabalgad fort in Maharashtra’s Raigad district. Trekking, camping, and local event services are available in Kalavantin. It’s also known as Kelve Teen, Kalavantinicha Sulka, or Kalavantin Pinnacle. It’s a veritably popular trekking destination. You can enjoy tent and fire camping, games, and local specialties prepared on wooden challah, as well as treks to Kalavantin. Difficulty Level of Kalavantin trek?
When trekking in the Kalavantin, there is a moderate difficulty level compared to other places. Depending on an individual’s fitness level, it generally takes around 3 to 5 hours to complete the trek. This is one of the most suitable treks near Mumbai, and the difficulty level is intermediate, not suitable for beginners. It can carry 3 to 4 hours, depending on when you start. If you start your tracking earlier, there will be a lesser crowd, and you can climb faster and enjoy the view from the top.
How to Reach?

07:45 pm – Reach Campsite at Prabhalmachi & get Refresh.
08:30 pm – Prepare for a night under the sky, have delicious local cuisine dinner, let the Arjit Singh in your come out, play a few games, shares stories (especially ghost stories), make new friends and enjoy the campfire.
12:00 am – Off to the tent for sound sleep ( for those who are very sleepy :P).
7:30 pm – Reach Prabalmachi base and stay
End the day under the open sky & enjoy sleeping in Tent. (Foam mattress will be provided)
5:00 am – Wakeup call freshen up and get ready for kalavantin trek.
06:00 am – Start trek towards Kalavantin fort
07:30 am – Reach the pinnacle Click picture in the clouds and explore nature beauty.
08:00 am – Take a Group photo and we start descending towards Prabalmachi.
09:00 am – Breakfast, Tea relaxation at Prabalmachi
11:00 am – Reach Base Thakurwadi
12:00 pm – Start our journey towards Mumbai untill next time….
