While driving from Pune to Mumbai, near Panvel, if you look to the right you can see a pinnacle, a vertical, pointed piece of rock. This is Irshalgad which translates to Pinnacle Fort (‘Irshal’ means Pinnacle and ‘Gad’ means fort.). Irshalgad fort is accessed through a beautiful trek known as the Irshalgad Trek.

01:00 Am – Once you meet the team, we settle in our private transportation and move towards the base village.
02:00 Am – On reaching the base village, freshen up, tie your shoe lace and be ready for the trek.
02:30 Am – After a short introduction round we start our journey to the top. It’s going to be a long night journey.
05:30 Am – On reach the top, rest for a while. We wait for the sun to rise. Don’t forget to capture the amazing sunrise.
06:30 Am – It’s the best time to click pictures and capture memories as the sun would be up shining bright. Enjoy the 360 view.
07:00 Am – Start our journey back to the base.
09:00 Am – On reaching the base village, freshen up & fill in your tummy with the morning breakfast.
09:30 Am – We leave back to the station.
10:30 Am – The trip ends on reaching Karjat Station. We get back home with a bag full of memories and a promise to meet again.
